The simulator is the first one provided by CAE out of Canada and it is now at the MEA premises, MEA chairman Mohammad Hout said at the ceremony.
CAE president Marc Parent said the new simulator is the first full flight simulator delivered by the company to MEA. It’s the latest one in the new generation, he said.
“The training center is full of prosperity for both the airlines and our company,” Parent added, saying the company trained more than 120,000 pilots each year. “MEA pilots will be able to be trained at the highest level of proficiency with the best technology in the world,” he said, adding that the center ensures the highest levels of safety standards. “With this simulator, you will be in good hands. … MEA passengers will be in good hands.”
