The owner or operator of an aircraft shall appoint a person acceptable to the CAA, known as the Airworthiness Coordinator, by using Form SM 64A.
The airworthiness coordinator shall fulfill the responsibilities stated in CAR AIR Subpart B to ensure that appropriate arrangements for continued airworthiness management as required by this regulation are in place.
A change in the nominated Airworthiness Coordinator shall be advised to the CAA SMR by using FORM SM 64.
