The Maintenance Programme for an aircraft operated commercially under an ICAO Article 83bis agreement or CAR OPS 1 or CAR OPS 3 | Commercial Air Transport is required to be approved by the CAA SMR before a Certificate of Airworthiness can be issued.

A formal application can be made using FORM SM 73 for the initial or amendments of an aircraft maintenance program.
