A CAR CAMO approval may be issued to an organisation that manages continuing airworthiness activities for the following aircraft.
(a) Aircraft operated under CAR OPS 2A that are:
- aeroplanes with a maximum certificated take-off mass exceeding 5700Kg, or;
- aeroplanes equipped with one or more turbine engines.
(b) Turbine powered helicopters operated under CAR OPS 2H
A CAR CAMO approval does not expire and is subject to ongoing surveillance by the CAA, not to exceed 26 months from the date of approval in accordance with the CAR CAMO Regulation, but may include unscheduled audits.
