Dear Clients, Friends and Colleagues,
First of all, I hope everyone and loved ones are doing well and healthy.
During these uncertain times, we maintain our unwavering commitment to ensure the health and safety of our clients, teams, and surrounding communities. Therefore, the uncertainty surrounding the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), that is now affecting all of us, I would like to assure you that we are committed to the needs of our aviation industry throughout this ever-evolving situation.
For the time being, the San Marino offices will be operating regular business hours, while working at home, and CAA and SMAR are operating with limited access from the public. It is important to stress that San Marino is currently operating under the same state of emergency as Italy and the government has placed a travel ban on its employees. Restrictions on travel around the world are also affecting the capabilities of all of us to conduct our oversight. This policy will be under weekly review and you will be notified of any changes as they occur. All desktop activity will continue as normal and tasking will be notified in the normal way for such activities.
Marco Conti, as CAA Director General is taking all the necessary measures to mitigate the impact that COVID-19 is having.
All responsible persons and/or post-holders of San Marino Registered Aircraft seeking assistance please contact us via email, office telephone, or to our mobile numbers with details of your inquiry.
We truly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time and ask that you visit www.smar.aero for news and/or updates.
SMAR hopes you and your beloved ones stay safe and healthy.
Yours truly,
David Colindres | President
